About Us
Banjara AS is a young enterprise founded in August 2014 and since then it has been building up at a steady pace. We believe in leveraging technology to solve key resource and environmental problems. Our current goal and focus is to build PenguinUp through a closed loop testing phase with a pilot customers.
An engineer by profession, Vaibhav has an inquisitive and scientific way of looking at things. After pursuing his Bachelors degree from NIT Durgapur, he continued his education with a Masters degree in Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University (USA). Over the past three years, his full-time job is involving wind energy. However, his desire to help people travel and see the world led him to establish Banjara AS and further work on Penguin Up.
A fashion designer by profession, Sona has a practical and realistic way of looking at things. She pursued her Bachelors in Fashion Design from NIFT, Kolkata. For the past three years she was working full-time in the Retail Apparel industry in Bangalore. In the course of time she has also picked up on some graphic design skills involving web design primarily.
Initiatives
Our first product/service is called PenguinUp through which we provide a platform to organize people for a safe, efficient and economical usage of non-public transport resources.
